Having graduated from Edinburgh Vet School in 2009 I took up an internship at Croft referrals, Northumberland. When that position finished I moved to Aberdeen and started at Town & County Vets where I spent two years learning new skills and constantly improving. This allowed me to work alongside Scott Rigg which taught me the importance of doing the job properly and to the best of my ability every time.
After my time in Scotland, I decided it was time for a warmer climate and moved down to Kent take up a position at Goudhurst Vets. Here I slowly started to spread my wings and instead of constantly learning from others, I started to develop for myself. Over my three years at Goudhurst I grew stronger and more confident until it was time for a change and I set about starting as a locum.
My new work pattern took me to many local practices, each a little different. I have loved working with so many wonderful clients and animals through locuming, but now it is time to get back to having greater continuity with those that I treat and that way I can give them the best that I can offer.
